ANNA (pictured in the right column) was my very first show dog and my very first American & Canadian Champion. My dream come true.
From Anna came all the pups of today. Molly and Jazz are direct decendents of Anna.
Molly, Lianna's It Ain'T Funny McGee, was born on my dad‘s birthday, September 4, and that’s how she got her name. One of my father’s favorite one-liners was from the Fibber McGee and Molly show; whenever my siblings and I were teasing each other he would say the famous catch phrase, “T’aint funny McGee”, that Molly often said to her husband, Fibber, whenever he would do something that he thought was funny but wasn't or tell an awful joke.
LIANNA'S THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE
Jazz was named by my great - nephew who was 4 1/2 yrs old at the time and "in love" with Disney's Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. My eldest sister, Nathan's grandmother, was just starting her battle with Breast Cancer and everyone was under a lot of stress. Nathan has always played with and "help" socialize every litter here at Lianna Shepherds since he was 10 months old; he too was feeling the stress so I gave him the important job of naming and training the new puppy to help him cope. It worked and thankfully my sister is in remission. Jazzy's registered name, Lianna's That's All She Wrote, is because she is from her mom's last litter -- need I say more.
LIANNA'S DEJA' VU ALL OVER AGAIN
Lianna's Deja' Vu All Over Again gets her name because she is the culmination of her mother, Molly, her grandmother, Beans, and her aunt, Jazzy. She has Beans' black face and dark, dark eyes and she hasn't met a stuffed toy that can stand up to her chewing or should I say TEARING. From Molly she gets her pushiness -- it's MINE and even if I don't want it anymore it's STILL MINE and you can't have it. Deja's loving personality and body structure reminds me so much of Jazz that in a darkend room the only way I can tell them apart is that Deja loves to "rub on you" like a cat.
